Welcome to the Team: Introducing Jade Husain, Associate Attorney

We are proud to welcome Jade Husain to the Apricity Law team as an Associate Attorney. Jade brings a litigation background that is both wide-ranging and deeply purposeful, and her arrival marks an important step in the firm's continued expansion in the Truckee, Tahoe, and Reno markets.
A Litigation Practice Built on Real Experience
Jade's practice at Apricity Law focuses on litigation across employment disputes, breach of contract, real estate, construction, and probate matters. She is a seasoned courtroom advocate who has handled complex cases at every stage - from pre-litigation strategy through trial preparation, mediation, and arbitration.
Most recently, Jade represented plaintiffs in employment class action and PAGA matters at Lavi & Ebrahimian, a Beverly Hills firm recognized for its complex litigation work. Before that, she served as a Research Attorney at the Los Angeles Superior Court, including a notable assignment in the Writs and Receivers Department under the Honorable James Chalfant. She has also worked at the California Department of Justice in the Civil Licensing Section, assisting Deputy Attorneys General in prosecuting professional license matters; at Nelson Mullins as an associate in Lemon Law litigation; and at Wilshire Law Firm in Los Angeles, where she litigated FEHA wrongful termination claims through mediation and arbitration.
The through line across Jade's career is clear: she knows how to fight for her clients, in whatever forum that requires.
Service as a Foundation
Long before litigation was a career, it was a calling. Jade's path to law began with the Victim Services Division of the Pima County Attorney's Office in Tucson, Arizona, where she worked alongside law enforcement providing crisis counseling to victims of crime, including scenes of domestic violence and homicide. That experience left a mark, and it has shaped the kind of attorney she has become.
That same commitment to people carries into her volunteer work. Jade has represented survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, and individuals recovering from homelessness at legal aid clinics, including Union Rescue Mission on Los Angeles' Skid Row. She now volunteers with Vista Rise Collective in South Lake Tahoe and Alpine County, bringing that same dedication to the community she now calls home.
A Natural Fit for the Tahoe Region
Jade's arrival in the mountains is more than a professional transition; it's a personal one. She has embraced the region and its community, and her growing practice in real estate and probate matters makes her a natural fit for the clients and transactions that define the Truckee/Tahoe market.
Outside the office, Jade can be found exploring the outdoors, reading philosophy, diving into World War II history, and tending to her poetry blog—always alongside her two cats.
