About Audren L. Tawaji
Audren Tawaji brings a thoughtful and grounded approach to both transactional and litigation matters. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from James Madison University, he spent time as a lift operator in Alta, Utah, and worked a winter season at Fireside Pizza in Olympic Valley. Following a particularly busy shift, he decided to pursue law and enrolled at the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he earned Academic Honors each year for ranking in the top third of his class.
Audren became licensed to practice law in California and Nevada in 2014 and returned to the North Lake Tahoe area. From 2014 to 2021, he operated his own practice, focusing on estate planning, business formation, and real property matters. From 2021 through the spring of 2025, he worked with another local firm, developing a wide-ranging practice that included both transactional and civil litigation work—a practice he continues at Apricity.
In his transactional work, Audren believes that knowledge empowers clients. He focuses on clearly communicating the legal and practical implications of each agreement so that clients can contract with confidence and purpose. His experience includes real property matters such as easements, purchase and sale agreements, and commercial leases; business agreements including operating agreements, shareholder agreements, and service contracts; and licensing and permitting issues.
As a litigator, Audren is known for combining rigorous legal analysis with a sensitivity to the interpersonal dynamics underlying civil disputes. His litigation experience includes construction defect claims, nuisance actions, and real property disputes.
Outside of the office, Audren enjoys skiing, climbing, live music, and spending time with his friends and family.
