Apricity Law Attorneys Troy Ortiz and Brian Francis Named to 2026 Super Lawyers Rising Stars
TRUCKEE, Calif. — Apricity Law, PC is proud to announce that Managing Partner Troy Ortiz and Partner Brian Francis have both been named to the 2026 Super Lawyers Rising Stars list, a recognition reserved for no more than 2.5% of attorneys in each state.
Selection to Rising Stars is the product of a peer-influenced, research-driven evaluation process, with eligibility limited to attorneys who are 40 or under or have practiced for 10 years or fewer. Honorees are identified through peer nominations and independent research across a range of professional achievement indicators.
The 2026 list marks Troy Ortiz's seventh consecutive year of recognition, having been named a Rising Star every year since 2020. Licensed in California, Nevada, and Washington, Troy leads Apricity Law's transactional practice with a focus on business and corporate law and commercial real estate. A licensed real estate broker and magna cum laude graduate of Thomas Jefferson School of Law, he founded the firm to serve clients throughout the Truckee-Tahoe-Reno region.
Brian Francis has been recognized as a Rising Star each year since 2021. A Vanderbilt University Law School graduate licensed in California since 2016, Brian concentrates his practice on estate planning, probate, and estate and trust litigation, anchoring the firm's growing estate planning group.
